The IWCA is excited to announce the launch of a new mentorship program in 2025.  We are seeking confident leaders to empower women that want to actively participate in thought leadership, and mentees that are highly motivated to level up their thought leadership capabilities and opportunities. 

SheSpeaks Program

Program will kickoff on February 25, 2025 and will run for 6 months.

Historically, when discussing public speaking opportunities with women in our industry, some of the feedback we have received is:

  • “I want to participate, but I am too nervous”

  • “I don’t know where to begin when honing my speaking/media skills.”

  • “I don't know how to obtain these opportunities.”

 

How do we break down these barriers?  “She Speaks”, a program and initiative for our members to grow, mentor, be mentored, learn skills, and practice speaking in a safe/judgement-free environment.

The goal of this program:

  • Educate

  • Mentor

  • Amplify

Program Structure:

  • 6 Month Rotation*

  • Inaugural Cohort: 12 people

  • 1:1 grouping

  • No charge for participation

Time Commitment

  • During the six (6) month rotation

  • 4 Group Thought Leadership Sessions (1 hr. each)

  • 1:1 mentor/mentee meetings (recommended 1 hr. mentoring session per month)

  • Independent assignments including suggested reading
